MailMiner, Inc., doing business as MailMiner (also "MailMiner," "our" or "us") created this Privacy Policy to help you understand how MailMiner collects, uses, and discloses the information we collect from you through MailMiner’s application, our website, and any other services we provide to our customers or end users (collectively with the MailMiner Products, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
Personal Data we collect and use
Name and email: To create an account, we need your name and email address. Your name and email are used to identify your user in support errands. If needed, you can change both from Account settings. Your email can also be used to send you notifications and newsletters.
Billing information: When you sign up for a premium subscription, your billing information is needed. You may update your billing information using the update link in Account Settings.
Location Data
When you log in, we may also store your IP address in logs for security and debugging purposes. Those logs are automatically deleted on a regular basis.
Information We Receive from Third Parties
Publicly Available Information: Our search technology scans/crawls the web (same as Google) and collects publicly available information from third-party websites, such as social media sites, corporate websites, and public records. These information may include your name, email address, phone, work history, education, location, social profile, skills, and other similar information. Our technology may also infer Personal Data about you by making assumptions based on publicly available information that may not directly concern you, combined with other information we have about you.
Other Third Parties: We may obtain Personal Data about you from third parties such as data brokers, people directories, corporate information directories, and other entities.
Managing Your Personal Data
Security: We take data security seriously and strive to follow best practices for securing your data. See Terms of Service for more information. Some support requests may require access to your account. Any information we see when helping you in the support request will not be disclosed to any external parties.
Deletion: Deleting your account is a permanent action that can delete all personal data related to your account. You may accept that we can keep your full name when you delete your account, which can be helpful for other users. If you do not accept, your full name will be replaced with anonymous text.
Storage: Normally, we will store your personal data no longer than 30 days after you delete your account. We may keep some of your information if necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, or support business operations.
How We Use or Share Information
We use the information we collect for a variety of purposes, including:
- Responding to requests or inquiries from you
- Providing customer support or technical assistance
- Providing the Services to you, including making available our online database with business contact details
- Contacting you to provide product updates
- Marketing MailMiner products, services, and features you may be interested in

Cookies and Tracking Technologies – How to Opt Out
If you would prefer not to accept cookies, most browsers and mobile devices allow you to change your settings so you are notified when cookies or other tracking technologies are being used. You can also choose whether or not to accept/allow it. Most browsers also allow you to disable or delete existing cookies or reject future cookies. Disabling cookies may limit your ability to use the Services.
Certain tracking technologies we use are related to advertising networks, and through those technologies we may share certain information such as IP addresses. No personally identifiable information is shared with these advertising networks. However, please note that the information we share with those advertising networks might be combined with other information about you that those networks may have collected from other sources.
Certain tracking technologies we use involve the use of session replay scripts or other scripts that run directly from your browser. If you wish to disable these tracking technologies, you can install a third-party browser analytics blocker plug-in such as Ghostery.
International Transfers
We process and store information on servers located in Ashburn, Virginia (USA), and we may store information on servers and equipment in other countries depending on the location of our users and service providers. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of information to locations outside of your country of residence.
For transfers of information out of the European Union (EU), we may process some personally identifiable information pursuant to data processing agreements that include the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. - Right to Restrict Processing: You have a right in certain circumstances to stop us processing your Personal Data other than for storage purposes.

Changes to Privacy Policy
Any information that we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time it is collected. We may revise the Privacy Policy from time to time. If a revision is material, we will notify you, for example via email. The current version will always be posted on our Privacy Policy page.
